Happy New Year!! Here's Whats Ahead

Happy New Year! As we step into a brand-new year, I can’t help but feel energized and excited about what’s ahead. A new year always brings fresh opportunities, new adventures, and a chance to reconnect with the things that inspire us most and this year is already shaping up to be an incredible one.

One of the highlights I’m thrilled to share is that this March, I’ll be a Featured Photographer at the Texas Photography Festival!

Texas Photography Festival — March 21, 2026

If you’re free on Saturday, March 21st, make your way to Georgetown, Texas for a full day filled with photography, creativity, and fun. The festival is a great opportunity to see inspiring work, connect with like-minded photographers, and spend the day immersed in all things photography. Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or just love the art, it’s an event you won’t want to miss.

Workshops on the Horizon

This year is also packed with some truly exciting workshops.

• Capture The Cosmos — April

  Our spring workshop in Big Bend is nearly full, with only one spot left. This session is extra special, as it will feature a Special guest I’m honored to host, my good friend and fellow astrophotographer all the way from Australia Jason Perry (@jsn_pdog). This is Jasons first trip Big Bend and the start of an exciting US adventure for him. The combination of West Texas landscapes and dark skies makes this an unforgettable experience.

• Capture the Cosmos — June

  We’ll be heading back to Big Bend again in June to take advantage of some of the darkest skies in the country, perfect for learning and refining astrophotography techniques.

• Mountain Gold & Milky Way - October

  To close out the year, I’m excited to introduce a brand-new workshop set among the stunning fall colors of southwest Colorado, blending golden aspens with a spark of stars overhead. This experience also includes a one-day add-on to photograph a cowgirl in her element in the La Sal Mountains outside Moab, Utah, adding a unique storytelling and western lifestyle element to the trip.

Along the way, I’m grateful to continue working with brands I truly believe in. I’m proud to be an ambassador for Move Shoot Move, whose star trackers I regularly use and teach with during workshops, and Spencer's Camera, a premier provider of H-Alpha camera sensor conversions that open up creative possibilities for astrophotography.

I’ve also put together an Amazon storefront featuring many of the cameras, accessories, and outdoor gear I personally use in the field. It’s a simple way for you to quickly find trusted tools and supporting it helps me continue building workshops, educational content, and new adventures.
