As this is a Premier Dark Sky location, we focus on some amazing Astrophotography images together!

Limited to a small group of 6 students to ensure that everyone receives 1:1 attention

Experience Level

All skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, are invited to participate in this inclusive photography workshop.


This workshop will involve moderate hiking, covering a distance of up to 3 miles, across diverse terrain including rocky and sandy paths.



​In the heart of a dark sky, Big Bend, Texas gives us a better view of the stars. Dark skies are the key to Milky Way photography and this is home to the darkest skies in the lower 48.


Beautiful blooming cacti, wildflowers and succulents will be in bloom during the workshop.


Exploring relics of the wild west, steeped in the rich mining history.

Subsequent to our field sessions, a comprehensive post-workshop editing session awaits. During this session, each instructor will meticulously guide you through their complete editing workflow—an opportunity of exceptional value. The most advantageous aspect is that you can comfortably absorb these insights as everything is meticulously screen recorded, permitting you to revisit and review the material at your preferred pace.

Breakfast and Dinner will be CHEF cooked on-site. Yes, we have our very own Chef on the road with us. Lunch and snacks will not be provided.

Nervous about being out-of-contact with the family? StarLink will be available to connect to for no extra charge. Many of these places have no cell signal available. As this does take time to set-up and take down, most likely will be available during down-times for the workshop at camp site.
